Made from Inez’s rolls recipe
Roll the dough out into a long triangle.
Filling:
1 Cup packed brown sugar
2 ½ Tablespoons cinnamon
1/3 Cup of butter, softened
Mix together and spread to approximately ¼ inch from edge of the triangle of dough.
Roll the triangle up and seal the edge by pinching the dough edge together. Cut into at least one inch sections. Place the rolls into a deep pan with the seam edge touching another roll next to it so that it won’t come undone during baking. Let rise to double.
Bake at 400° until lightly browned, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Frosting:
Mix a couple of cups of confectioners sugar with a couple of Tablespoons of melted butter and about a 1/3 of a package of cream cheese. Add a tsp. of vanilla and enough milk to mix to a creamy smooth consistency. Be careful, it’s easy to add too much milk then you get into a cycle of adding more sugar, more milk…
