Restaurant Teriyaki Sauce

Makes about 1-1/2 cups

1/4 cup of soy sauce

1 cup of water

1/2 tsp of ground ginger

1/4 tsp of garlic powder

5 tbsp (packed) of brown sugar

2 tbsp of honey

2 1/2 tbsp of cornstarch

1/4 cup of water.


Mix all but the last two ingredients in a sauce pan and begin heating.

Mix the cornstarch and 1/4 cup of water in a separate cup

Add the cornstarch solution to the rest of the sauce.

Heat, stirring frequently, until sauce thickens to your preference
